Wellness and Innovation: Our Journey into Starpool's Philosophy

Last Friday, June 27th, we had the pleasure – and let’s admit it, the excitement – of visiting, thanks to the invitation from the Associazione Italiana Saune & Aufguss, the headquarters of the Trentino-based company Starpool, which has made wellness its mission. Welcoming us, in the year of their 50th company anniversary, was a passionate team and a place that immediately conveys care, vision, and authenticity. But above all, we fully experienced their Wellness philosophy.

In the heart of Val di Fiemme, where Italian wellness is born

We are in Ziano di Fiemme, surrounded by majestic mountains and nature that speaks for itself. It is precisely from this land – rich in tradition and beauty – that Starpool draws daily inspiration to design and create solutions that combine aesthetics, health, and technology. Inside Casa Starpool, innovation is in the air: offices, labs, showrooms, training areas, and a true Corporate Spa. Everything is designed to create wellness – first for those who work here, and then for everyone who uses their products all around the world.

Science, design, and passion: what lies behind a Starpool sauna

During our visit, we were shown the full journey that brings each product to life. Scientific research, innovation, and obsessive attention to detail are the key ingredients. The Research and Development department is the beating heart of it all: engineers, designers, and technicians work side by side to create unique solutions, many of which have been true firsts in the sector. Everything is designed to improve quality of life, focusing on key areas like stress, sleep, performance, and longevity.

True sustainability you can see and feel

What really impressed us was their hands-on approach to sustainability. No greenwashing here: we’re talking real energy efficiency, smart use of space, and respect for the environment. The “Wood Recovery” project, for example, involves planting a tree for every sauna produced and every guest welcomed. A symbolic yet tangible gesture that gives back to nature a piece of what it offers us every day.

The Starpool Method: heat, water, rest... and much more

Our visit ended with a deep dive into the Starpool Method – a scientifically validated system based on the three pillars of thermal wellness: heat, water, and rest. From this balance come personalized programs for spas, hotels, gyms, businesses, and even homes. With over 20,000 configurations available, each project is tailor-made for those who experience it.

We returned home full of ideas, a little envious of those who get to work there every day… and deeply inspired to carry forward, as members of Aisa, an authentic and modern vision of the world of Saunas and Aufguss.
